Categories and prizes
UCI categories:
- ELITE Men (with UCI 2012 license) – 6 laps X course A
- ELITE Women (with UCI 2012 license) – 4 laps X course A
Other categories:
- Open Juniors Men (15-18 years old) – 4 laps X course B
- Hobby Men 1 (19-29 years old) – 4 laps X course B
- Hobby Men 2 (30-39 years old) – 4 laps X course B
- Hobby Men 3 (+40 years old) – 4 laps X course B
- Hobby Women (+15 years old) – 4 laps X course B
Important:
Depending on the weather conditions on the race day the number of laps can be modified. These numbers will be announced prior to start.
The age that will be taken in account when registered will be the age fulfilled that year by 31st December. For example, is a rider turns 19 in December, he will not be allowed to compete in the Open Juniors Men Category.
Licensed riders who are already 30 years old will compete in the Elite category.
Riders with a FRCT(Romanian Cycling Federation) license are not allowed to race in the hobby categories. Not obeying this rules leads to disqualification!
Riders that used to have a license can compete in the amateurs / masters categories only if 2 years have passed since the last issued license. Not obeying this rules leads to disqualification!
Riders with UCI Master license will ride on Hobby Men categories. They also can ride in the UCI Elite Men category but they will be disqualified from any UCI Master Race for the rest of the year.
Prizes:
UCI Categories:
Romania is included in “Europe 2″ zone, so the prizes could be 60% of the UCI financial obligation but the sponsor of the event decided to respect the prizes for “Europe 1″ zone for Elite Men category. The Elite Women category will get prizes according to UCI financial obligation for “Europe 2″.
UCI Elite Men:
1–665 EUR, 2–530 EUR, 3–400 EUR, 4–330 EUR, 5–265 EUR, 6–200 EUR, 7–165 EUR, 8–130 EUR, 9–100 EUR, 10–65 EUR, 11–55 EUR, 12–55 EUR, 13–55 EUR, 14–55 EUR, 15–55 EUR.
UCI Elite Women:
1–318 EUR, 2–240 EUR, 3–159 EUR, 4–120 EUR, 5–78 EUR, 6–60 EUR, 7–48 EUR, 8–39 EUR, 9–33 EUR, 10–24 EUR.
Other categories:
Goods (bike parts and accessories) for first, second and third place for every category.
International points:
Elite Men and Elite Women categories will receive points for the Olympic Qualification Ranking according to UCI Class 1.
1–60p, 2–40 p, 3–30p, 4–25p, 5–20p, 6–18p, 7–16p, 8–14p, 9–12p, 10–10p, 11-8p, 12-6p, 13-4p, 14-2p, 15-1p.
