UCI C1 Maros Bike XCO CUP 07.04.2012 – Offroad to London

Timing of the event is provided by Tempo Sport Ltd, with  J-Chip equipment. It is one of the world’s best transponder timing systems. It is used successfully all over the world (Europe, Japan, America).
Every participant gets a transponder, which transmits a signal when crossing the finish line. The signal is processed in a computer, where the transponder’s identifier is connected to the rider.
Lap time, total time, position, etc. is immediately displayed on the speaker’s monitor. Result lists are available a few minutes after the race has finished.
After the race, riders have to return the transponder. The transponder is waterproof, and weighs only a few grams.

Cronometrarea acestui eveniment este realizat de catre Tempo Sport Ltd, cu echipament J-Chip. Este unule dintre cele mai bune sisteme de cronometrare din lume. Se foloseste cu succes pe intreg mapamondul (Europa, Japonia, America). Fiecare participant va primi un transponder (chip) cae transmite un semnal la trecerea liniei de sosire. Semnalul este procesat intr-un computer unde chip-ul faca conexiunea cu ciclistul.  Astfel timpul pe tur, timpul total, pozitia in clasament, etc sunt imediat afisate pe monitorul comentatorului. Rezultatele sunt disponibile in doar cateva minute dupa finalizarea cursei.
Dupa concurs, fiecare participant va trebui sa returneze chip-ul. Acesta este rezistent la apa si cantareste doar cateva grame.

Adaugam faptul ca firma care realizeaza cronometrajul are in spate experienta acumulata in Cupa Ungariei de Cross-Country si in T-Mobile Top Maraton Ungaria.
