[EN] The beginning of March there was a lot of snow on the track, but the weather has suddenly heated, so about two weeks the track has already dried, becoming just right for the ride. We started to clean and prepare the track about a week ago, it is already rideable, even if we still have a few things to do on it, but we will manage to do the rest the following days. Marking the track will begin Wednesday and will end Thursday evening so Friday to be ready for Commissaire inspection and official trainings in the afternoon. The track is like the previous year, with no major changes, paths are mostly solid, but we have two downhill parts on boulders and gravel (Rocks Down and Snow Ball), a steep climbing part with lots of roots and some gravel (Roots) which will only be included if the track will be dry, and a climbing on a grass path (Phoo-Tay).

[EN] We need to change the date of the event, because of logistic possibilities. The new date was approved by UCI  for the 7th of April 2012.

[RO] Suntem nevoiti, din motive ce tin de logistica sponsorului, sa schimbam data competitiei.  Noua data a fost aprobata de catre UCI pentru 7 Aprilie 2012.

Pentru a profita din plin de iarna, cluburile Clujul Pedaleaza si Maros va invita la un Fun Race intitulat “Clujul Pedaleaza pe Zapada”.

Competitia e programata sa aiba loc in Padurea Faget, zona Pater (acelasi loc de start-sosire cu Maros Bike XCO Cup), sambata 18 februarie 2012, cu startul programat la ora 11. Pentru ca e un concurs de fun, aceasta va dura maxim o 1h:30 min iar categoriile sunt limitate la FUN masculin / feminin si Expert  masculin / feminin. Read the rest of this entry »
